We are present in the areas of culture, education, sports, social assistance and income generation. Our projects contribute to collaborate with the total development of people, guaranteeing basic content for their formation as citizens in the towns of Orlândia, Guaíra, Miguelópolis and Ipuã, located in the northeast region of the State of São Paulo.
Our work aims to transform infancy and adolescence in a more positive and beautiful experience. For Oswaldo Ribeiro de Mendonça Institute, it is necessary to guarantee the development of children, adolescents, young people and their families in all its dimensions: intellectual, physical, emotional, social and cultural.
In our projects, we work together, sharing, focusing on the formation of people that are critical, autonomous and responsible to him/herself and with the planet. IORM recognizes the individuality of each person and multiple identities in one community.
All our work is done in partnership with the municipal, state and federal governments, Private and Third Sector Companies. The Institute is registered and certified by the Municipal Council of Social Assistance and State Secretaries for Social Development, Culture and Sport.
PROFILE OF THOSE ASSISTED
Priority is given to children, adolescents and young people in the municipalities of Orlândia, Guaíra, Miguelópolis and Ipuã, enrolled in the public school system. Children, adolescents and young people referred by the Social Assistance Network.
ROLE OF THE FAMILY
Family is an indispensable space to guarantee the survival and total protection of children and other members. Through a psychosocial team, IORM works to establish ties with families to promote an involvement, commitment and collaboration in the development of our projects.
