Project Guri

Project carried out by the Guri Project Friends Association in partnership with the Oswaldo Ribeiro de Mendonça Institute.

More than the teaching of music, Projeto Guri promotes the strengthening of ties between Guris and their families and the community. The Guri Project is an action of the São Paulo State Government and the São Paulo State Secretariat of Culture and is administered by the Guri Project Friends Association.

Partnership with the Oswaldo Ribeiro de Mendonça Institute, which is the headquarters of the Project in the cities of Guaíra, Orlândia, Ipuã and Miguelópolis. Through the partnership, 300 children are assisted in four cities.

Sociocultural inclusion of children and adolescents,

In Guaíra, the Guri Project has local support from IORM, the Colorado Group and Guaíra City Hall, serving students in the musical initiation, youth choir, guitar and percussion modalities.

In Ipuã, the local Project Polo has support from the City Hall, offers free classes in Children’s Choir, Youth Choir and Guitar.

In Orlândia, the local Project Pole is supported by City Hall, offers free lessons on Percussion, Viola, Violin, Cello, Acoustic Double Bass, Clarinet, Flute, Saxophone, Trombone and Trumpet.
